Thailand’s Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has upgraded its ESG Product Platform, adding crucial details on Sustainable and Responsible Investing (SRI) Funds. This enhancement supports investors in making informed decisions about sustainable investments. The platform now offers key metrics such as Assets Under Management (AUM), fund counts, and asset management company participation.
The SEC plans to further expand the platform by categorizing Thai ESG Funds invested in listed companies with disclosed corporate value-up plans. This move aims to facilitate investors interested in Thai ESG Funds focused on such stocks. The initiative aligns with the SEC’s goal to promote governance enhancements among listed companies. The expansion will also broaden the scope of eligible assets for Thai ESG Funds.
