India: Smart City Transformation in Mangaluru

The Mangaluru Smart City Limited initiative has completed a project to enhance the Kadri Park Road area with 38 retail units. The project involved an investment of Rs 16 crore and aims to attract local and tourist foot traffic. Despite delays, the tendering process has been finalized, and the retail spaces are set to begin operations shortly. The retail units are expected to offer a unique range of products.

The opening of the shops is expected to boost the local economy by providing employment opportunities and enhancing the visitor experience. The project is expected to give a facelift to the entire stretch of Kadri Park Road, attracting more visitors. Local authorities are hopeful that the shops will soon become a popular destination for both locals and tourists. The project’s completion is expected to have a positive impact on the local economy.
