Indonesia is undergoing a significant digital transformation, with a focus on overhauling the ministry responsible for the country’s digital identity system. A request for tender has been issued for a “Digital Transformation Strategy” to support this effort.
The selected partner will assess existing structures and processes, identify gaps, and deliver a robust transformation vision and strategy aligned with national priorities. This will include providing a concept and roadmap for enhancing institutional readiness, covering governance, policy alignment, and capacity building. Indonesia has set a legal basis for digital ID to be used for authentication for access to government services. The digital transformation strategy is expected to last six months and carries a price tag of $600,000 Australian.
