Milton Keynes Smart City Plan

Milton Keynes City Council has outlined a smart city action plan, which includes three key initiatives to drive innovation and improvement in the city. The plan aims to enhance partnerships, engage residents, and further develop the city’s technology testbed capabilities. This will help establish Milton Keynes as a hub for testing and developing smart city initiatives.

The city is already hosting live trials of innovative technologies, including self-driving shuttles, urban drone deliveries, and advanced radio communications. The smart city action plan will build on these initiatives, prioritising the needs of residents and exploring ways to tackle climate issues, improve public health, and deliver better public services. By working together, the city can harness the power of technology to drive positive change.
