HIMALAYAN Salt

Cleaning Tips

the natural way to clean & shine

1. Versatile Cleaning Agent
Salt acts as a gentle yet powerful scouring agent. Combine it with baking soda and dish soap for a soft scrub ideal for cleaning appliances, enamel, and porcelain surfaces.

2. Polish Brass and Copper
Create a paste with equal parts salt, flour, and vinegar. Apply it to brass or copper, let it sit for an hour, then clean with a soft cloth and buff to shine.

3. Maintain Sink Drains
Prevent grease buildup and deodorize kitchen sinks by regularly pouring a mixture of salt and hot water down the drain.

4. Remove Water Rings
Gently erase white marks on wooden surfaces caused by glasses or hot dishes with a paste of salt and vegetable oil. Rub lightly and wipe clean.

5. Eliminate Cup Stains
Tackle stubborn coffee or tea stains in cups by mixing salt with dish soap to form a soft scrub.

6. Remove Rust with Ease
Combine salt and cream of tartar with water to create a rust-removal paste. Apply, let it dry, and then wipe it clean with a soft cloth. Alternatively, use salt mixed with lemon for the same effect.

7. Deep Clean Glass Coffee Pots
For sparkling coffee pots, add salt and ice cubes, swirl them vigorously, and rinse. The salt scrubs away stains while the ice enhances agitation for a thorough clean.
