Uzbekistan Introduces E-Contracts

Uzbekistan has introduced electronic employment contracts, requiring both employers and employees to validate the contract within the system using an electronic digital signature. This move aims to enhance the efficiency and transparency of employment contracts. The legislation establishes the procedure for entering into electronic contracts, amending the regulations governing the Unified National Labor System.

All employers must enter into electronic employment contracts via the UNLS platform and register paper contracts within the system. Exceptions will be made for organizations with confidential staffing lists and employers in the national security sector. Electronic contracts must be signed by both parties using their electronic digital signatures through their personal accounts.
